Volunteers Needed to Help Enrich the lives of our patients

Please provide us with some information about yourself so that we can match you with the most rewarding volunteer experience.


Administrative volunteers provide support in our home care office by filing, preparing admission packets, and assisting with special projects.

Direct Patient Care
Trained volunteers visit patient and families at home, in the nursing home, assisted living community our in inpatient unit . These volunteers help the caregiver to take some time away from daily responsibilities.

Hair Care
Trained Patient care volunteers provide haircuts, shampoos and style to Twelve Oaks Hospice patients and families . Those volunteers must have a current cosmetology license.

Life review/ legacy volunteers
These specially trained volunteers provide comfort and support by documenting the patient's life story as a legacy for the family. These professionals may use a combination of audio recording, picture taking and video to chart the patient's lives.

Massage/ Simple Touch/ Reiki Therapy
Massage therapist volunteers gives friendly touch and massage to comfort and support patients and their families. They are required to hold a current message license.

Music Therapy
The musically talented volunteer soothes the spirit of our patients with different type of instruments and music styles. Music alleviates stress and anxiety for both the patient and the families in hospice Care .
